| Huxley gets carsick..sometimes I thought it was the carrier and the stress of the vet that made him sick (usually as soon as we pull into the driveway, only 5 minute ride) so I got him a harness belt clip and on a 30 minute drive he yelped and howled but soon just layed down in his bed and was fine! Took him on a 15 minute drive to the in laws today and he threw up. He doesn't eat several hours before the trips either! Same thing on the way back, he doesn't seem stressed he just sits there or lays in his bed and then like clockwork as we are pulling in the driveway i can hear that dreadful heaving sound . I'm thinking the belt forced him to look forward which is why he was okay despite the length of the trip but he hates being tied up and he freaks out..my poor little guy |

Before going that route, check his car seat...is it high enough for him to see out of a window? Being able to see what is causing the motion helps the brain in humans and animals.
