YT 1000 Club Member | I agree, most of us do, but... I do give my guys an option, they have bunk beds in various places where if they choose, they can have some private time. Regardless of in the bed with me, or somewhere close, I take a great deal of solace in knowing that they are looking, listening and will alarm in an instant if there is a problem. That level of protection/notice is a biggie for me.

YT 1000 Club Member | HA HA yea, I used to have Old English. A SUPER fuel savings in the winter months. They're like having a furnace in bed with you

| My smallest Yorkie sleeps with me. My other one sleeps in a recliner next to the bed most of the time. Once in a while she will get in bed with us when it's cold. If she could, my sister's dog, an old chihuahua that was our mom's, would sleep with us too. I have to keep a gate across the doorway to keep her out. She hogs the bed and sheds terribly or I would let her in with us. She sleeps with my sister. Last edited by ruby2sday; 09-01-2013 at 10:36 AM. |

| Megan used to sleep with us, Gina has no fear or sense of boundaries yet though. As soon as Gina is old enough, and we train her to use the steps, both up and down, then she will sleep in the bed as well. Right now Gina sleeps in her crate until her first morning walk, then I hook her crate to her playpen and let her have a nice size romping room. Her playpen is is 8 24"x24" panels with a gate for when her crate isn't attached. Cheers Quad

YT 1000 Club Member | I don't allow Puppies bed privileges until I'm sure that they are potty trained. But with my Pack, the Stairs up to the bed are "monkey see monkey do". The new guys just follow along. It's SO easy when you have Adult Dogs as teachers

| I have a small pet carrier that I keep on the end of my bed (on my bed) and Piper will always go in there when we go to bed at night. I was putting her in there when we were working on potty training and I guess she likes it. She does come to bed with us when she wakes up at about 5:00 to go potty. I'm nervous about letting her sleep with us all night because she only weighs about 2 and a half pounds and she likes to cuddle right next to you. I'm afraid one of us will roll on her!! |

| Coco sleeps in bed with us. Rico prefers sleeping in his bed which is on my side of the room.
