| What does the area look like? Is it red or inflamed? It's probably going to be ok, but if he was able to pick them out, he was able to lick...which could lead to infection. So, what does the area look like?

| Wash your hands really well, then feel the area of and around the incision, if it's hotter than the rest of the under body it might be infected. Check to make sure the site is fully closed, but still keep your appointment with the vet. Hope everything is alright. Cheers Quad

| some vets don't like cones but they should've at least gave suggestions like a modified onsie or a tshirt depending where the incision is. Just keep that appointment so the vet can make sure it is healed well. I'm sure it's ok.
