| You can start taking him to the groomer once he's had all of his shots. The earlier you start, the easier it is for them to get used to it. If his hair isn't too long, you can ask for a shampoo & a little clean up/trim. Be sure to tell the groomer it's his first time so he/she knows to be gentle & patient Also, it REALLY helps to speak with the groomer to let them know how you'd like (or not like) the hair cut. You don't want to be shocked when you pick him up. Good luck!!

| Make sure the groomer knows exactly what you want/don't want done. I take Gina every two weeks to get a trim, ears, feet, channel, face, and nail grind. Make sure to tell the groomer if your puppy still has dew claws, so they can trim them as well. I wash her at least once in between trims. Once her adult coat comes in, I plan on taking her for her normal trims, then once a month for a full "all dolled up" session, that's what we used to say to Megan, she would get excited and run to the door, Megan loved her groomer when we lived in Greensboro NC. Cheers Quad

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | I wash Galen every week to 10 days. I do spot washing. I agree talk to the groomer before you bring him in. Make sure they can do what you want. Then remind them on the day you bring him in what you talked about. You can also bring pictures if there is a certain cute you would like
