| Introduction - Dizzy & Coco Chanel! Hi All - I wanted to introduce myself as a new member of the forum. I'm a long time Italian Greyhound owner that recently lost my 12 year companion - Zeus. In the wake of my our sorrow (mine and my other little IGGY Vixen), came a small illumination named Coco Chanel. We purchased her from a young family with a small child that was getting married, moving overseas and living in a very small studio apartment. They said just didn't have time for her. I know her birthdate, but not much else about her. I wasn't given papers or any documentation with the exception of her shot record. I've always kept in close contact with the breeders of my IGGY's and wish I knew where she came from. Although I wasn't sure at first, having been so attached to my IGGY's, but within 24 hours I was madly in love with her. She's a little show-boat, very active and cute. Weighing three lbs. at six months, she's got a BIG personality and keeps me laughing with her "BIG DOG" antics! Although I'm an IGGY expert after 12 years of owning two of them, I know little about the Yorkie breed and want to make sure I provide the right environment for her first year of life. I also have so many questions regarding raising her, feeding amounts, healthy treats, growth rates and grooming (which I've always done myself). I hope to learn from posts to the forum so I can make sure little Coco Chanel remains a happy and healthy little companion. I look forward to your mentorship and to sharing as I become a more sophisticated Yorkie owner!! -- Warm Regards - Dizzy & Coco Chanel |

| Awww...they are so cute! I am sure your experience will be different between the breeds, but I think you will absolutely have a wonderful time with your Yorkies. Welcome, and congratulations!
