| Henri is turning blond! Ok, so I have no idea what is up with Henri's hair. He has the standard grey/blue and tan coat (with a little bit of cream on his head and a white star on his chest), but this summer he is turning blond! The tan has become light and is creeping into his grey/blue saddle, at first it wasn't very noticeable but now it has become quite prominent. My mom says he looks like a "blond with a bad dye job". What is going on? My only explanation for it is the sun bleached it, is that possible? He likes to "sun bathe" a lot. My hair naturally gets blonde streaks in the summer and even one time turned completely blonde due to how much I was in the sun, is the same thing happening to him? I know it's been said on here before that they can change colors multiple times in their youth but this seems out of the blue (no pun intended, lol). He has always been grey/blue and tan since he lost his puppy fluff. Will he turn completely blond or will his hair go back? Anyone have an explanation? Btw, did any of you know that when referring to a male with fair hair it is "blond" while when referring to a female with fair hair it is "blonde", with an inanimate object it is "blond". I found that just so interesting!

| How old is Henri? I knew at about 5 months Dolly would be blonde (geez, I never spelled it like that-thanks for the education!).

| He is 2 years and 4 months old, which is why I don't understand the sudden change.

| There are 2 Yorkies in our family who look like blondes in need of a roots touch up, but it stays that way all the time. The hair starts off dark but changes to blonde about an inch out. weird

| That's exactly how Lexie's is. I think it's pretty. she started out as the tradtional color, but at 18 months broke her leg in 2 places & had a year of casts. After that the breeder shaved her down to match the leg & after it grew out it was blonde with dark roots. It's been that way since.

| Hmm, I wonder if that's whats going on. I have kept Henri's hair short since he was a puppy and it's only recently that his hair is longer. Who knows!

| What gorgeous hair! Mia should be in a shampoo commercial, maybe L'Oreal or something Henri's hair doesn't look like that, but is it possible it might end up like looking that way? One things is for sure, I don't care what color his hair is, I just was hoping someone had answers to the sudden change. He is the most adorable thing in the world and that's all I care about!

| My Avery has a few of those same patches and he is also blue/silver and blonde. But the patches are more like a light caramel color and they only come out if his hair gets on the longer side too. Just makes him more unique |

| Thank you everyone for your input! I guess I will just have to wait and see if this is something permanent, will fade, or just when his hair is long. I loved seeing everyone's little blondies though, they are all so adorable!
