| What kind of shampoo to use? I am currently using Top Performance Baby Powder Shampoo. Has any of you ever used this product? The shampoo seems to make his coat shine for a good 2 days, I would like something that makes his shine last longer. Also after I bathe him he doesn't really smell like a completely clean puppy, he kind of smells like a dirty puppy who just got sprayed with some baby powder scented spray... This smell will last for 3 days then my King just starts smelling like a dirty puppy, hence, I MUST bathe him once a week. I actually bathed him yesterday and he's got that dirty puppy smell mixed with baby powder right now..it's a pretty noticeable smell. I'm not sure if its just that this shampoo is of low quality? Now I'm just curious on what products you all use to bath your dogs? I would like something that'll make his coat shiny and have him smelling clean for a good reasonable time, but especially right after a bath. |

| Sounds like the first product I used on Max. Something from PetSmart that I can't recall the name of. There is so much choose from. Most of the ones I like have to be ordered online, unless you have a great local dog boutique or groomer. My favorites: Bio-Groom Oatmeal Shampoo with Creme Rinse Conditioner Isle of Dogs Vellus Espree (Jenny sells this on her website toplinepet.com) Les Poochs Pet Silk #1 All Systems Chris Christensen Coat Handlers

| Teena has allergies & I'm always experimenting with something new. I've been using Pantene shampoo & conditioner on Dolly for 9 years & it keeps her floor length hair healthy, shiny & beautiful. It also smells fantastic.

| I use Paul Mitchell Awa-Poochie shampoo and conditioner. I love the smell and Lukas gets a lot of compliments on how good he smells. |

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | I use Pet Silk puppy shampoo. I use Espree facial cleanser in plum. It is great to keep his face clean. I also use Chris Christensen. I just love this stuff.

| I use Espree puppy shampoo and conditioner on Dexter. It does a great job and keeps his coat super soft. He always gets compliments on how soft it is. |

| I recently switched to Wampum products - which I love. Fragrance free. I also use Arturo Matt-X dematting spray - which has a fragrance that I'm not crazy about but it dissapates quickly. |

| I've been using something called "Filthy Animal" but have switched to GloCoat. I absolutely love it! I notice Zoey has more of an odor than Magnus does. But it's gotten a lot better since I changed food. She also used to stink a bit on the face and I think that had to do with her tearing so much. I've been using the nursery water to wipe her eyes twice a day and the stinky face is so much better. |

| Thank you all for the responses(: I will be looking into each of these to see which one I like most. Also, I guess I will try to go more for an oatmeal one, although I'd like to go for something with a better scent... Only because I've recently noticed continuous scratching on the neck area and leg/thigh region. Hopefully I can find something that'll fix these problems! |

I only bathe them once a month. I've never heard anyone complain about them being smelly. They usually get complimented for their oh so soft and shiny hair. LOL | |
