| Please tell me they grow out of this! When Billi first came home, we noticed her eating her own poop a few times. Thankfully, I came here and found out how to stop her. She's had meat tenderizer on her food ever since. Then I found her eating her "cousin's" poop- Martini, the pom who lives with us. I'm able to slip Martini pineapple daily now and nipped that in the butt, as well... But how do I get to her to stop eating poop in general? I let both girls' out the front door to go potty while I grabbed the mail and found them digging feverishly at a spot in the grass and eating whatever was there. I couldn't see anything, but it smelled terrible! The girls got inside and we quickly saw Martini covered in poop and Billi chasing her trying to eat it off. OMG I'm gagging as I type this! First off, we don't know who's poop it was- it was fresh though so it's not ours and how rude to let your dog poop on my lawn practically by my front door! But since I'm not the one out there doing "poop checks" and cleaning up, is there a way to get Billi to stop eating poop in general? Something tells me I can't just send all my neighbors slices of pineapple for their dogs everyday... Not that I wouldn't resort to that

| We are at 2yrs old and Molli will still eat poo if I am not there to tell her to 'leave it'. The hardest part is the other dog's poo, I can give her pineapple, but like you I can't feed the whole neighborhood. Teach a 'leave it' command, that helps. Also maybe get a toothbrush and toothpaste- to brush the teeth if they do get into it. I hope you have better luck than I have!

| You know, silly me for not remembering leave it, that'd be a good way to get her to stop (eventually, anyway). Thank you for that reminder! I wish I just needed to brush her teeth after this episode- little girl REEKED from head to toe... bath time for her! You'd think she's being abused or something, how much she sulked afterward LOL

| Joel was really bad about "getting" Roscos but after constantly telling him no and leave it THANKFULLY he just doesn't bother with it anymore and he is even getting better about leaving the duck poo alone. So he did grow out of it |

| Max is 3 and still eats poop. I can barely comment further on it Be careful about Billi eating poop from dogs you don't know. She can catch diseases that way.
