| What exactly is a blue born? I apologize if this has already been discussed here but I had never heard of a blue born Yorkie until I saw the term in a post here on YT. I understand it is a genetic fault and that the baby is born with a silver coat? Do all blue borns, if they survive, have health problems? I saw a pic on Instagram that a lady had posted, she does not live in the U.S, and she was excited that her puppy was born silver. I posted a comment to her that she may want to get that newborn to a vet and that it may be a blue born. She replied that she had seen a couple vets and that she was told blue borns do not survive the womb?!?!? I know there are some members on here with blue borns so that is obviously not true. I want to educate myself and I guess be able to point that lady to YT if she is grossly misinformed. I believe she lives in South America, I will have to check. Thank you in advance for any info. |
