| Is your yorkie a barker? Leiloni is not a barker at all. The only time I ever heard her bark was when she was trying to get her ball from under the sofa and couldn't get to it. But even that was more like a squeaky toy sound and not a bark. She is now 5 months and from what I remember of Gus, he was a big time barker at a very early age. I'm not complaining one bit because I do know that these little ones are big time barkers and just want to know if anyone else has a nonbarker

| The Mandie is not what I would call a barker. Her big brother sure is, but she's not. She doesn't even really join in when he does. The only time she gets going is if it's the middle of the night and there is a sudden noise outside or something like that. ...OH!Or if a dog is barking on tv lol

| Both of boys do not bark often, my lab is the barker. They usually only bark when all the neighborhood dogs get going, or something startles them. |

YT 1000 Club Member | I encourage my guys to bark. But I have 2 mature Yorkies (been with me since puppies) that "guide" a newcomer as to what and when. They're praised highly when alarming at the right thing, and not so much, when it's not important. Ickey (my new Yorkie Pup) is chiming in respectably, and Navi (Chihuahua Rescue) even has joined in on occasion. She's not exactly clear at this time, just what to bark at. It's kinda funny, my Yorkies are all rather robust animals, and hearing Navi's rather mild bark, always makes me laugh.

| So far Lola only barks when she's talking (give me that! Let me chew your fingers! Play with me!). When someone's at the door she'll sit there and cry. She'll get alert when she hears something weird, but won't make a noise. I wish she'd bark when people are at the door. |

| Callie is not a barker at all if she wakes up before me most of the time she will just sit there and stare at me until I wake up sometimes I will get a little deep woof just one but she has gotten lazy and will sleep in until 12 . I know if she does bark though that some thing is wrong because she just doesn't do it so I always go running to find her.

| Tibbe barks a lot in the house but not so much when he's outside. When I first got him, he barked at first, then went quiet for a few months before he resumed barking. He's not a yapper nonstop but I do let him bark at things he sees out the window or strange noises he hears.

| I actually thought your question was rhetorical! I thought all Yorkies bark. Max likes to siren off all the time. He barks during walks, looking out the window, or even just hearing the slightest noise sets him off. And it's piercing!! Cooper only barks when Max is barking and then barks in Cooper's face to get him to join in the chorus.

| Hot Rod never used to be until my neighbor got her yorkie(s) and the neighbor on the other side got hers. Now he will bark at people walking across the front of the house and he will bark at the birds flying in the yard. lol It's kinda funny cause we have barking sessions throughout the day where I will join them. Strange I know, lol, Hot Rod will bark and Maggie May will wake up barking, it's so hysterical. She has noooo clue what she's barking at. I chime in and we all just sound so ferocious.
