| My yorkie pooped in your yard!! So what?!?(rant) So, I 've been living at my house for about a year now and I've never seen the lady 2 doors down step out of her house...until today and it was to yell at me. My dog had pooped in the her yard that is in between the sidewalk and the street. When she walked out I was in the process of picking it up and promptly showed her the bag of poop, hoping she would see that I am a responsible dog owner and I ALWAYS curb my dog. Instead she said she didn't care...that it would still leave a mark...and we do have some nice yards in the neighborhood, but hers is not one of them. I just shut up, as I knew there was no winning the argument...but I wonder how she expects me to stop my dog from pooping when he needs to poop. She has outdoor cats that are in her yard that poop bigger than my dogs and that doesn't get cleaned up...and rabbits everywhere that leave piles of turds. On top of that, there are LOTS of people that walk their dogs in the neighborhood by her house. Why yell at me?? Yell at whomever has the big dog around who keeps taking dumps and doesn't curb their dog. I almost told her to call the cops and tell them that my dog pooped in her yard and I cleaned it up... ask them what they say. Has anyone else had something similar happen?? |

| I had someone tell me I'm supposed to slide a piece of newspaper under their bum when they assume the position. That way I can catch it & it doesn't get on the grass.

YT 2000 Club Member | dog That crazy lady was having a bad day and tried to ruin yours! You did the right thing by not responding. She has nothing better to do than come flying out and yell at you. I feel sorry for her. If she knew the love of a dog a little poop is nothing to scream about. |

YT 1000 Club Member | I agree that that woman was having a crappy day...I figure as long as you picked it up its fine. And if it was on a grassy area you should of told her it's just free fertilizer and she'll have really pretty grass in that spot...I swear some people just want to have something to complain about. |

| Next time I would proudly have my dog crap there and make sure I smear it while I picked it up. But that's just me. |

| That part of the yard is the parkway and although we get the privilage of maintaining it,if the city decided that they needed a wider road there you cannt do a thing about it. So actually your dog pooped on the city's property. Kinda like the stop signs in the Walmart parking log are just suggestions because it is private property. |

| My grandma IS this woman. Haha, but she does have the nicest lawn on the block. She even has a little sign that says stay off the lawn. I've never seen her be rude to anyone though, I wouldn't doubt it that she was in the past so much so that when there most people walk their dogs on the opposite side of the street, I've never even thought of bringing Draco while visiting her. And outside my grandmother I've never encountered a person like this.

| It sux when you get 'caught in the act'. I had a similar experience a couple of months ago. Momo was pooping on the side grassy area. The home owner was going to her car & said 'No good, no good' & shaking her head back & forth. I held up my poopie bag in my hand, showed it to her & told her I'm gonna pick it up & flashed her a smile. She kept saying 'no good, no good.' I seriously wanted to fling the bag of sh*t @ her loll! What does she expect me to do, drag Momo out of the grassy area while he's taking a dump? I think I was more annoyed bc I always clean up after my dogs & we got caught in the act.

I don't care so long as it's picked up. But what I hate is some people in my neighborhood will just let their dog out and these are much bigger dogs. Their poop piles are almost as big as one of my dogs! That burns me up cause they don't clean up after them as the dogs are loose.
