| I have not tried litter training but bet it will work with only one dog. Did anybody tell you how hard it is to convince a YORKIE that they should do something?? Anything?? |

| I am doing the same thing... Parker knows where do go... he just wont part of the time. Anytime that he has an accident if you use papertowels to get up the pee, place them in the litter box, or poo itself.... then take him to the litter box and show it to him, then praise him while he is AT the litterbox. Scold if you catch him making a mess and take him to his litter box... It takes patience.... trust me... We have our litterbox next to our commode, and Parker wants to use the commode as a fire hydrant!

YT 5000 Club Member | I can't give you any advice on litterbox training b/c we had to get rid of ours b/c Gidget would just eat it! She is just now somewhat trained and that is only because we got a new house, built in the l-shape for her an area, and we let her out very often! She still has accidents too though! Good luck in training!

| We have had great success with the dog litter. Sadie has never tried to eat it. We cut a puppy potty pad into fours and place one of the fours in the litter box. It makes it real easy to clean up. For some reason Sadie won't go in the litter box unless this little piece of puppy pad is in the litter box.

| I am doing that with Lexi. She is completely litter box trained. It took awhile for pooping, but she got the peeing in it right away. When she peed on the floor, I soaked it up with a paper towel and put it in her litter box. After that when I saw her "circling" I would put her in the litter box. Once she smelled the paper towel she peed. I praised her and gave her a treat. The pooping took a little more convincing. I actually had to put poop in there, but it didn't work, so once when I knew she needed to poop I put her in and wouldn't let her out until she pooped in there. I praised and praised her. It still took about a week after that of praising her, but now she is completely litter trained. She dances around in circles when she goes potty because she knows it makes us happy and she gets a treat. |

| rocky is doing great with the litter WITH PAPER IN IT We Tried The Pads. They Were A Toy. We Tried The Litter He Was Berzerk. We PUT PAPER IN THERE AND HE IS A SAINT. i even take the box when we go to friends etc. he goes in it everytime so far. we kept him very restricted as far as space unless we were observing him constantly in the beginning. now at 6 months i really think he gets it. i am so happy!!! try it it's worth it. good luck. michelle |
