Yorkie Yakker | Baby teeth My 2 guys both around a 1 yr had to have all their baby teeth removed. It seem this is a condition that is common among Yorkies. Their baby teeth do not fall out. I had 22 baby teeth removed for my Goliath and 10 removed for my Gizmo. Now their adult teeth at completely normal.

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | A Yorkie should have lost most of their baby teeth around 6 months or so. Sometimes, a baby tooth will not fall out before the adult tooth comes in. This is what is known as a retained tooth. It will eventually need to come out to keep the permanent teeth from being over crowded and prone to dental disease.

| Marcie's baby teeth came out on their own. I'd find them all over the house. I am not certain when they were all out. I think it was 5 or 6 months. |

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | I took Galen to get neutered and have his puppy teeth to be pulled at 8 months. He mouth did not want to let go of his teeth. They pulled 17 teeth. 2 of his molars were hanging on.
