I have read this complaint so many times and the only solution I have ever read to the problem is put the litter box where the little bugger cannot get into it. They are one of the most persistent breed ever born. I know that FORBID Powder or Accent will help keep them from eating dog poop but I do not know if those are safe for a cat..

Right! The only other thing is to clean up the poop as soon as it happens so that he doesn't have any poop there to eat.

Please clarify...is he eating his own poop or is this cat poop in a litter box? I have never had this problem, but I read somewhere to give them a bit of pineapple juice and it makes their poop less desireable. I don't know of anyone who has tried this and am unaware if pineapple is good/bad for a dog, but it is something you may want to ask around about. Yuck and good luck!
