| If your gonna get a larger crate you definitely want a small one for transporting him to the vet. I think some people crate train in this size too. But if your gonna have him in there for an extended period of time I quess you want a larger one. Have you considered an Xpen? You can make those small or large by how many panels you use.

| I use the medium one, as Bell is bigger and we bought it for her. But I haven't used it for at least a year. Its collecting dust in my garage. Mine looks exactly the same with the same lock in front and the same snaps on the side and I purchased mine at Walmart, I believe it wa a bit cheaper and you wouldn't have to pay for shipping.

| I bought two crates for Rambo. One is a plastic travel one and a metal one that has the dividers on it because I am crate training. That stays at home.

| crate I bought one of the wire metal crates. I have heard horror stories about them getting hung between the bars or whatever so I also bought a 3-piece bedding set that has a mattress, bumper(like in a baby crib), and a cover. I really like this and so does Parker.... He goes in there for "quiet time" when he is tired of playing or what ever.... I purchased this set at petsmart.com.... it is called Petdreams or something like that..... I found it in the bedding accessories section! Also, I would purchase another small crate for transport. |

| that's a good size. They need just enough room to COMFORTABLY stand up, turn around, and lay down.

| http://www.petsmart.com/global/produ...=1135807135349 I have this and the size I bought is for the 24"D x 21"H x 18"W crate... This gives him plenty of room, without so much to make it "tolerable" to potty in there!!! He loves this!!!! |
