| I'm sure she'll be okay, but keep an eye on her for symptoms of parvo: Parvovirus Infection | Canine Parvovirus | Dog Parvo | petMD If she doesn't show any symptoms within a week, she should be fine. |

| In the US they need all of there puppy shots not to get sick. I would just watch your pup and if she starts acting sick get her to the vet as soon as possible!

| Oh no I'm sorry... I agree keep an eye on your baby, any sign of sickness take her in right away- do not wait. Praying she didn't catch anything. Can you report to your sitter's boss or leave a review about her? That is bull crap, I would be so pissed!!

| The chances of her coming accross something in that one encounter are slim. Just keep an eye oh her some symptoms of parvo are vomiting, bloody diahrea not eating lethargy. If you see any of these symptoms get her right to the vet

| Hopefully no infected dogs had recently been along the route your sister and the pup took. All you can do right now is watch for symptoms. Your pup doesn't have enough immunity to disease right now but hopefully she will be alright. Many people don't understand how immunity works. I'm sure you have explained it to your sister now so she knows not to do it again. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I would think she will be ok. Before I knew that they needed all their shots, I took my young puppies out with out incident. I'm sure your sitter was trying to be helpful.

YT 500 Club Member | I never knew that either until just before I got Sophie and none of my previous dogs ever got sick. We went on walks to parks, etc. I agree with Patti, she probably thought she was helping you. Just keep an eye out for symptoms but I'll bet your baby will be just fine.

YT Addict | I was uninformed when I brought my previous yorkie home at 9 weeks. I took him for walks through the neighborhood and I also took him to Petsmart. Thank goodness he didn't catch anything! Hopefully that will be the case with your little pup.
