| 4th of July How are you spending this Independence day? Will your pups be spending it with you? Do share Tessa, Daisy, and I will be watching the the fireworks and air show. Luckily they aren't afraid of the loud sounds and love being out and about. Have a happy and safe 4th of July everyone! |

| We don't really go out much on holidays like this. Usually just me and the hubs stay home with the kiddos and chill out together. Sometimes we grill but I think we'll go down to the park this year and buy some bbq and stuff. I know I'll go by the farmer's market and get some watermelon. Yep, the pups will be with us at home. Just relaxing. I am sure I will find some time for my new addiction = Candy Crush grrrrr. lol Probably go out in the backyard and let them play..bring out the newly bought kiddie pool and see if I can convince Mandie not all water is evil like bath water. *sigh* Happy 4th to everyone!!

2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | Our city has an all day event starting with a 5K run in the early morning, rides for the kids, food, music and all sorts of stuff. Haven't been thou since the kids were younger. Though I might print up some info on Bella Dawns, take Ruby in her July 4th dress to show off my work and hand out my info. to anyone that asks or shows any interest. Maybe, maybe not depends on the weather and the humidity. The 4th is pretty much the only time the whole family is free so we are having a small get together later in the evening since both DD & DH have to work. Than maybe go watch the fire works if the kids are up to it. Than Saturday we like to try to make it to the lake to visit friends and stay for fire works there too.

YT 500 Club Member | Hopefully the weather will cooperate. planning on having some friends over to the pool and cook out. Then later we'll be inside with the tv up loud to try and mask the fireworks. Our neighbors always shoot them off for about an hour or two. Needless to say Fritz HATES them. It's more like they make him mad rather than scared. It will be a first for Sophie. However, if Fritz barks then she thinks she should too.

YT 500 Club Member | We've had so much rain in the last month here too. I would say hopefully it will rain starting a dusk to avoid the fireworks. But, then they would just drag them out for days and days. It's best to pretty much get it over with on the 4th.

Yeah, they will have the fireworks eventually but they don't have them near where we live so hopefully things will stay quiet. I haven't gone to a firework display since my kids were younger. I like to watch them on TV though. | |

YT 2000 Club Member | We are going to bar-b-q with family and the pups are always welcome. We all bring food and just sit and enjoy the day. I made outfits for the pups, so they will be all decked out! Fireworks follow at dark, but we are passing this up because I think Teeka & Tatiana might be scared of them. This is their 1st Independance Day and I don't want them to fear loud noises! Happy 4th of July, to all!

| We are going to go hang out by the river with the pups and then go to a fireworks display. The fireworks don't bother them one bit, so they always come with us to the river and sleep on the blanket during the display.

| Another lazy day at the J's house. Fluff's probably going to be barking at the fireworks until they get used to them. Hopefully I won't cook.

YT 2000 Club Member | dodg We have fireworks nearby. My Yorkies go nuts. I close all windows and turn up the tv and hold them. It is very scary to dogs. Be careful if your Yorkies hear fireworks. It could frighten them. I will be glad when this day is over. My dogs and shaking and scared. |

| I don't know what to do. I am suppose to go to a party with my family but it's going to be nuts there. It gets crazy there on the 4th. I don't really want to bring Charlie because I know how crazy it is, but I don't want to leave him home alone either because he'll probably here them going off here too and get scared. I have to hang out with my family so I don't know what to do. I might just bring him. I wish I had a reliable doggy sitter. |
