Donating YT 30K Club Member | Hi Cali will only eat Cesar's as well, she went hypoglycemic on me 2 times when she was a baby so I figured give her what she will eat. I put a vitamin spray on her food everytime I feed her and she seems to be doing fine. My pom is almost 9 years old and will only eat the red foil cesar's. I know it's not high quality food or good for her teeth, but I give her chews for her teeth and clean them. As far as the biting, last month I thought she would never stop biting and was getting frustrated but in the last week she has greatly improved, only bites occassionaly. Hang in there it gets better.

| Break only a few pieces of dry food up and mix it with her Cesaers. Eventually, she may eat a little more. Maybe try a few pieces of chicken mixed with cesaers - and then use pieces of chicken for her treats. My Yorkie will eat almost anything. Carol Jean |

| If you're trying to get her to eat dry food, try mixing a few pieces in with her Cesars. You could even let it sit for a minute first to let it soften some. If she eats it, gradually stop letting it soak so that those few pieces are still crunchy. Then, gradually increase the amount of dry food and decrease the amount of Cesars. If you are looking for treats for training purposes, I frequently use little tiny pieces of cheese or leftover meat (and I do mean tiny!). |

| You could get some bully sticks, which are digestible to give her to chew on. That's what I give mine. She doesn't get rawhide. For treats, cheese is a favorite. That's what I used as a treat when I potty trained her. Also, I get Vitakraft Beef-Sticks in Salami flavor at the pet store and give her little pieces of that, too.

| When I got Casisie the woman was giving her a bit maybe 1/4 cup of dry dog food and put a little hot water on it . I would put it right down for her but she usually waited till water was absorbed . Also have added some of the sauces you can buy for dogs and added a few drops on top and stir it in. She gobbles it right down. I divide her food like this and she always gets a bit of both worlds. |
