| How well does your pup get along at the dog park? I love dog parks, Draco has been a few time since his cast has been off and yesterday was the first time he actually played one on one with a few dogs at the park. It was a schnauzer pup about twice his size but they played so well, and he's so fast! It was a really good experience, because my friends dogs seemed un untrested in him completely. But I hate how agressive some dogs are even the tiny ones are over protective of the park. The one I take him to isn't that popular and have at most only encounter maybe 10-12 there on the small dog side at a time, maybe a few more. And I get so proud at how well behaved Draco is, though we're practing "no jump" he didn't bark excessively be overly whinny or and thank goodness he didn't dig in the water bowl. Though he does get quite dirty. He're some picks of him at the dog park, then one after a bath and brush. I love all the editing you can do on phones these days. =]

| He is soooo cute! I have been taking Jackson since he was pretty young (I think 6 months). He absolutely looooveddd it for a long time, he would always find a dog to wrestle with, and run with, and he's really fast. By the time he hit about 3 ish, he's very 'meh' about it now. He will be 5 in October. He is still perfectly fine in there, very social, but it's very rare he will run a lot or play or wrestle anymore. He prefers to walk around, smell everything, pee on stuff, he will go say hello to the other dogs, and he sometimes finds one he really likes but usually we go just for the smells nowadays. It kind of makes me sad. This is how he used to ALWAYS be at the dog park, and he still gets like this every once in a while, but not as much.

YT 2000 Club Member | dog park We have a nice dog park here in town. Lots of dogs go there. I am very leary of the dog park. I have seen dogs attacked and bit and tore up. Some people do not control their dogs. You run the risk of getting some sickness there. I will not ever take my Yorkies there. Yes, they love to run but the risk is too great. Please be careful if you go to the park. One attack and your dog is at the vet possibly dying. I do not like these parks. Our people take their dogs off leash and chat. Dogs go after other dogs and a fight breaks out. I am telling you, you really take a chance of getting your dog hurt. |

| Joel does better with one on one playtime, with just one dog he'll actually play but with a group of dogs he just wanders around, sniffs the ground and drools lol |

| I'm guilty of being over protective of mine, so she hasn't been to a dog park. She has played in my yard, and a neighbors yard with their cockapoo. She loves playing with him. At the vets, she does ok with other dogs, but there's always that 1 that sniffs her and starts to get aggressive looking. So, I just don't do dog parks.

| Mine love the dog park, I only use the small dog side since I have seen some large dogs do scary things to some of the little dogs. I saw a large dog just enter and a small yippy chihuahua went to greet the dog. The large dog grabbed him and shook the pup like a rag doll. The owner immediately removed the large dog but the damage was done . I don't use the one near my house because the small dog side is tiny and my pups can escape through the gate. I mean why build a small dog section when there is a six inch gap between the gate and the pole. Not very secure at all. I do use my in-laws dog park because the small dog side is about half an acre, giving my boys lots of room to run. They love playing with their little friends. |

YT 2000 Club Member | We don't have a dog park in my area. If we did, I would be scared that they might get hurt! Besides, I have 3 yorkies, a Cocker Spaniel & 2 outside dogs....it is like a dog park at my house. They have lots of room to run & romp as we live on an acreage in the country.....although I do still have to be out to watch them just as I would at a dog park! I am happy that they have so much fun!
