Potty Training Help :( I need some really good and effective tips on how to potty train my guys. They go half of times on and half off the potty pad. We just got a new area rug and now is when it is getting especially essential since they are ruining our rug! Before they would go just as easily on the hardwood as opposed to the potty pad, but like I said, half of the time it's on, half of the time it's off.

There are some past threads on this that you might want to look up. Also the training section has some information about this. I feel your pain. Basically, there is no magic cure. You will need to start from step one. They require constant supervision. If you become busy (housework, etc), you need to put them in a confined area.

By the way, if you like your rug, you may want to roll it up and store it until your guys are better trained. I replaced my nice wool rug, with a cheap nylon one. Why take chances?
