| I think I need to re-home my little Lola... My house is chaos...my older kids are home from college one with her dog and a friend. My younger kids are in and out of the house...in the pool....running around the yard etc... Poor Lola is a nervous wreak. She spends her entire day in fear. She does not particularly like boys or men, well i happen to have three of those in my life! Unfortunately none of those can be re-homed because on some days I would consider it and I am only half joking. It is non-stop barking and shaking much of the time lately. She really needs to live in a quiet home with NO children but preferably another friendly dog because she adores her furry brothers. This only improves slightly in the fall when everyone goes back to school. I adore her, she is my princess but I can see how anxious she has become and it is sad. I am the only one she finds true comfort with but she will also seek out her two-legged sisters. I can not let her go to just anyone but would consider someone I know would be good for her. She is 3 years old and 3.5 pounds. Is there anyone on this board who lives in North Jersey. Any crazy Yorkie person who spends time on this board has to be a good mommy or daddy. It is our love of Yorkie's that bring us here. I would have to be able to see where she goes and meet anyone who will be a part of her life. I live in Northern New Jersey so some place close would be ideal. If you think you might be interested message me. She is the gorgeous dog pictured in my profile picture. |

| I am sorry you are facing this very difficult decision. Please be very careful screening potential homes. Lola is precious. If I had the resources, I would stand in line for her. Wishing you and Lola the best.

| I am so sorry you have to rehome her, it must be a difficult decision to make. Have you tried a doggy play pen and some homeopathic anxiety medicine. My Pixie is very nervous when my grandson is around. I mean she is running all over the place constantly jumping up at his face. Running from one person to the next she is relentless about constantly being all over him. licking nonstop! I bought her a doggy play pen and some homeopathic anxiety meds. VETiONX - Natural Pet Health Products it has helped a lot.

| sorry was in a hurry when I read your post, I see her age and weight. I live in MI but am in NYC frequently as I grew up there and still have family there. I have no kids, and a hubby that is hardly home, but LOL I have another Lola and she is ruff and tumble and we try to be active. on one hand I do not want another dog, but on the other I am tempted since Lola would Love a sister and I love/the parti/biewer breed. I am also pretty connected with Yorkie 911 and others in the NYC and NJ area that you live in so I would be willing to help you if no one else steps forward. May I ask How she became so shy or timid, did you have her from a puppy or was she a rescue. Your lifestyle and family sounds like one my Lola would love.

| I sympathize with you. My house is chaos too for the same reasons you mentioned. My female Biewer is in a state of anxiety all the time it seems. I am going to try the herbal anxiety formula mentioned in this same thread and hope that works as I will be where you are if not. I pray your Lola finds a wonderful perfect home. I'm so sorry. |

| I so wish I lived closer. Lola is beautiful and I would be willing to take her in a heartbeat, though my hubby and landlord (who happens to be my dad) might have something to say about it... at any rate, I wish you the very best in finding a perfect home for Lola.
