| I changed vets (looooove the new vet!) and the new vet gave Toby a treat stick that looked like a slightly hard and thick version of fruit leather. She said it was all natural and made of veggies. Toby *loved* it. He went to town on it and gnawed on it for hours and barely made a dent in it! Of course he made a mess of his face and paws, but he was one happy puppy! Next time we go there, I need to find out exactly what that treat stick was, because it was fantastic! He actually rolled over and gave the vet his tummy to rub...so different than his first vet where he was shaking in fear.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | CET Chews (2 kinds, both formulated for teeth; get 1 size bigger than your yorkie usually needs, to prolong. Don't get them at the vet ($$$), get them on Amazon) RMBs (raw meaty bones; bison back/rib bones are a great size for yorkies; I have the butcher cut the rib bones by 1/2 or into thirds for my 2 smaller kiddos) Honest Kitchen Beams (made only from fish - no by product; your kiddo *might* be able to chew these a bit fast, but worth a try; they do smell a bit fishy, btw) Rawhide that is too large to consume (making it last) Kong filled with yummy things Nylabones (not all dogs dig these)

| Have you tried something called "texas toothpick"? If your pup goes through bullies like my Magnus then the toothpicks won't last long. But if not, you might want to give that a try? |
