| I just got... Buddha for Christmas. I have always wanted a Yorkie.... I am trying to litter box train him... any help would be appreciated! Thanks Any advice in general would be willing accepted!!! |

| I used the pee pads if thats what you mean. I tried actual litter box but found that the size was a bit small for them, when they poop they like to kinda do the walk thing a bit and litter box was too small. Also found that so matter what kind of litter was used in got all over. I found the pads were a lot better. I get a box about the size of the pads cut it down to about 1" around put newspaper in the bottom and then pad. I also put a piece of plastic under box to cover about 8" around the box in case of accidents. After a big meal, or a big sleep, or a play take them put them in box and tell them to go pee pee or poo poo. When they go make a big fuss and give them a little treat, I get the soft bones and cut them in very little pieces and give them a couple. It won't be long that they will go on their own and come and find you to get their treat. Much luck |
