| Blow drying Is it necessary to blow dry Miley after baths? I usually just put her in 2 towels and then wrap her up in her blanket that she likes. She's 14 weeks today and she hates the blow dryer :/

| It's not necessary unless you live in a cold, drafty place, but I'd recommend getting her used to the blow dryer. There may be times in the future you'll want her to dry quicker than the time is takes to air dry, or you might want to dry her off if she's been in the rain or the winter snow. I let ZoE run around after her bath, after I've towel dried her. She likes to get her zoomies out for a bit. Then I brush her & dry her. Start with just a minute or two of blow drying and then praise her & tell her she's a good girl. Build up slowly, so she gets used to the dryer. Also, always keep one of your own hands under the air from the dryer, whether your brushing or just running your finger through her hair, so you feel the temperature of the dryer at all times.

| She's been doing SO much better lately. I'm not sure what it is but she's just SO different now (different in a good way!). She's more playful and calm and just overall loving. She doesn't get afraid when I come by her anymore although she does still run back into my room if I'm walking in at the same time as her or if she's afraid of something haha. My room is like her safe haven.

YT 500 Club Member | My male HATES the dryer and runs away. After I towel dry him he runs like a bat out of then rolls around on a dry towel. He is kept pretty short so he is almost dry by the time he's finished with his act. Then I brush him and in about 5 min. He's dry. My girl on the other hand LOVES the dryer and every morning when I dry my hair she has to get brown a little too. It hilarious how different they are.

| I blew dry Leiloni for the first time this last Saturday. She hated it,,, at first. After a while she stopped shaking and actually sat there the whole time and even ended up falling asleep. Hopefully the more you do it the easier it will be. My Gus never did like it. He was a smart cookie. He knew when it was bath time when I brought out a towel and blow dryer and would actually run to his kennel.

| Both Magnus and Zoey don't like it at first but will put up with it. I start off with a bit of a distance and then slowly close the gap between the pup and dryer. It seems to help. Funny thing with Zoey is that she'll "body surf" after I finish drying her. She'll take off running and slide on the carpet repeated. LOL Very entertaining to watch. |
