| Tucker is marking his Territory in the House! Tucker is 8 months old and is trained to his pad. No problems until this week and he has begun to hike that little leg and spray anything, furniture that seems to have a corner so he can get up close to it, something new I bring into the house..! He does this when he goes for his walks also and I figured that was normal. Also a few accidents just in the floor! No changes in household or anything upsetting him....should I go ahead and have him neutered now, he is humping his toys also? I was waiting for him to be older...he goes back to vet in about a month but I don't want bad habits to become a HABIT! Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks!

| I would have him neutered before this becomes a bad habit

| Right now we are having the same problem with Biscuit, our chihauhua/jack russel mix. He's nine months old and is also marking the territory all over the house. We are going to have him neutered next month as soon as we get off work. |

| Neutering is the best thing to avoid this - other than that, take him outside and correct him when he marks inside. Get a good product that has enzymes to get the proteins from the urine out and spray that where he has marked after you clean the area good. I use Nature's Miracle - seems to work well.
