| I haven't had 2 yorkies, but I have had 2 dogs. We just kept an eye on their playtime, gave lots of love to each.

| Hi Our 7 month old Bette got a new sister one week ago today. The first day was a little bit snippy as they tried to work out which one was boss. Jäger-belle was brought home in the morning and we let them both have a good sniff at each other, Bette is very sociable but still we kept jäger in her crate until Bette was used to her being in the same room. We then let her out to toilet with Bette outside closely supervised. They had little growls over toys but apart from one of bette's favourite we decided they needed to share. We bought a couple of new ones to add to bette's plus more rolled up socks!!! Lol We tried to give them separate bowls for food but jäger went to eat out of bette's and vice versa so now we put puppy kibble in one and puppy Caesar and fresh chicken in the other. It works great and no fighting over each others. My advice is to give your current dog lots of cuddles and attention and not to over fuss the new arrival. They will play fight and try to outdo each other but we just gave lots of praise to the older pup and played lots with both. It took about 3 days to really settle with each other and our reward was when the little one cuddled up to Bette for a snooze. I still wouldn't leave them on their own for any length of time together for a few more weeks, but as they go off to explore the house together I do follow at a discreet distance. The 2 good things that came out of getting another pup is Bette was being pad trained but the new pup goes outside. Now Bette does and overnight we got rid of the pads and our stubborn Bette now goes outside :-) Toys - Bette has stopped destroying her toys and has calmed down as she now feels quite mumsy I think towards the new pup. They now do everything together except go for walks as the new pup needs her final vacs next week. They are teaching each other new things every day and I can't imagine life without both of them x

| I love the name of your cute yorkies! And Riley is nearly eight months so there a similar age, I worry Riley would get jealous as he is so close to me. But I do think it will be good for him to have a little friend. I have always wanted two and I'm getting her from the same breeder too. Riley is very good and house trained ( however he does have his moments! ). Riley also loves socks! He is always taking my fiancé s and hiding them! He is always asking where his socks have gone! I will make sure Riley gets the attention he does now and I would never want him to feel left out, he is the best think ever and I too can't imagine Life without him. My partner also says the same thing, we love him to bits Looks like I will be pink yorkie shopping soon! i can't wait! Xx

| Lol Bette was glued to my side even when I went the loo, I couldn't leave the room without her following me but now I can ( well for a couple of minutes then she comes trotting out) the pups have bonded really well, as soon as we see any signs of jealousy we fuss her and give her some one on one attention. She has been so good and it's great to see the friendship between them. It has definitely made Bette more independent of me but still loves her cuddles and is very tolerant of the younger one who is a little whirlwind, we call her feisty knickers lol. Bette Brie was named after my favourite actress Bette Davis and yes I'm embarrassed to admit it the Brie bit comes from our fave cheese. Jäger is named after my other half's fave drink but I did draw the line at jäger bomb, so it became Belle. Let me know how your new pup settles in when you get her. As I write this the pair of them are chasing after the same sock despite there being several of them. Also toys Bette didn't show any attention to have now become the most exciting and interesting toys in the universe, but only when jäger wants them. Big kids really :-) x

| The name is fab! I have had a fair few of those drinks on nights out too!!! They are deadly! Awww that is so cute they play like that, I hope Riley and his "sister" will be like that, I really do think it will benefit Riley. They look so adorable on that picture cuddling up! That's what I want for Riley! A little friend xx
