| Coyote attacks little dog; Rottie comes to the rescue Wow, this is all too crazy. It shows you how quickly a coyote can attack too! Definitely doesn't seem like the safest location for dogs to be running loose... but check out this video. Rottie to the rescue! Thank God, or else that little dog was a goner for sure! | I dont think it was a yorkie, but I am not sure. I hope he survived or wasn't too banged up.

| OMG!!!!! Love that the Rottie saved the little one, but that is seriously scary to me!!! I had an angel watching over my boys and I last year, when a coyote was in our yard and I brought the boys out. I got the sense something was there and something was not right and safely got my boys back inside. I can see now I may have been no match for it if it decided to snatch one of my boys right in front of me. Awful things can happen in split seconds. UGH!!!

| We'll be moving closer to the mountains this fall. More desert and more coyotes. Were can I get a rottie like that, although we live in town and I still don't let them inthe rear fenced yard unsupervised. How about a great pyrenees? |

| Oh my! This is one of my worst fears. We have lots of Coyotes around here and they are so scary. I am always a nervous wreck each time we take our little ones out to potty. Things can happen so quickly, and they are so fast. My husband has been trying to hunt them, but they are smart rascals. I don't hate animals (I love them) but I truly hate Coyotes because of the threat they are to our small babies. |

| Even though I have a 100' x 100' fenced in backyard I won't let mine out without being on a leash. A coyote can scale a 6' fence no problem. So happy that Rottie was there to save the little one!!

| I love Rotties. Big ole' teddy bears, but always there for you when in trouble. I dogsat one from the time he was 8 weeks until he was 2. He loved Jackson, knew just how to act around him. They really loved each other.

| What a great photo of Jackson and his rottie friend. I live in the city but coyotes live on a golf course near our area. We were walking one night around 6pm and Buster was doing his finding the right place to poop walk on the tree belt. Jack suddenly shouts pick him up. There was a coyote in an intersection 1/2 block away trotting towards us. I was so frightened I started yelling and Jack went towards it to scare it away. I was so lucky Jack was with us as I was concentrating more on Buster than the surroundings at the moment. My head now swivels like Linda Blair in the exorcist when we are out for walks. I do hope that the pup was not badly injured.

Donating YT 500 Club Member | We hear coyotes howling around here at night. Even though we have a huge fence our dogs don't EVER go out alone. And Jasper has never been out of the house except to the vet. I'm too paranoid to let him. He is just so little and I would die if something happened to him. Ridiculous aren't I?
