| Playful Yorkies Do many of your yorkie puppies like to play? My pup seems to be most content when he is laying on my lap! I have tried playing with his squeaky toy or a ball to try to get him to play but he just doesnt feel interested! I was just wondering if any of your yorkie puppies are like that. I mean I love him dearly and the fact that he is a lap dog but I just wish he would want to play alittle more! Maybe it will change as he gets older! | pulease. are you kidding? I can't get Mason to sit still for a minute! Oh how I envy you and your lap dog. :Puppy: As soon as I walk through the door, Mason is already waiting for me with a toy in his mouth and ready to play throughout the night. If I don't play with him he will yap, bark, whine, and scratch....he will do everything to get my attention |

| Stewie will not leave me alone for a minute. I found a solution (kind of). Greenies. You should check them out. I was skeptical at first when i read about everyone raving about them, but they're really great to get them to lay down (and shut up!!) for 1/2 hour!

| I believe it just depends on puppies age. Bella only wanted to be on my lap when she was a pup, now she is a year and a half and she does not stop for a second!! I am exhausted!! Oohhhh, I miss the "good old days". |

| Sandy is all lap dog - but she's older and doesn't have that puppy energy But Tia? Whew! I've never seen anything run so fast. Sometimes she'll get "spooked" and go darting down the hall about 15 times, then collapse on her bed. Too funny!

| Mine wants to play all the time, yapping at me with her toys, etc. She will sleep on my lap for a while, then right back to playing. I have a ball on a stick with string, and that way I can still sit and she will run after the ball. I also have a soft toy tied on a string, and she will chase that while I can sit. They can be pests at times. But, at night I give her her greenie, put her sweater on, and she's on my lap asleep and hates being disturbed. |
