| Newbie Hi everyone I'm not sure that I'm posting this right but I'll give it a shot because I need advise for my dogs skin I've read other posts but I still Don't know what to do. My poor little dog has such flakey skin and I've tried everything I can think of to help her for instance First she was on Acana fish and it didn't help now she's on Canine Caviar The fish one I've bathed her in the hypoallergenic dog shampoo,I've used hydraplex aloe and oatmeal shampoo I've smeared der magic skin rescue lotion On her wich just made her greasy and stunk up the house the dog foods don't have corn or any of the bad stuff what should I do I'm scared to give her omega 3 since she's already eating fish food can she get too much of it? But her skin is so flakey and her fur so dry I just don't know what to do she's so Small only 3 pounds full grown I'm scared to hurt her Please help!! |

| Ask your Vet. to refer you to a dermatologist. I'm thinking it's some type of dermatitis. It could be due to an allergy to food. Oh, and welcome to YT. What is your little girls name? Would love to meet her.

| Hi and welcome to YT! Yes, I would speak to a dermatologist perhaps. Also, try adding a bit of coconut oil to her food every day. Mandie had dry skin on her tummy and when I started giving her coconut oil, it cleared up. I'm still battling her dry hair though...
