| Good brand of clippers Hi. I was thinking of clipping my yorkies hair myself. But I want a good pair of clippers. What are some recommended brands for clippers and the costs that are good to use on yorkies? Thanks for any suggestions. (I heard that Andis brand was good. What do you think?) |

| When were actively involved in training horses, we had an Andis cordless clipper that we used to trim faces and feet. If memory serves me, we paid in the neighborhood of $200.00 and it was worth every penny spent. The batteries held a charge for a long time and I bet we recharged them hundreds of times before the battery started failing. I would definitely recommend an Andis Cordless - but only the better models. I'm not a fan of el cheapo clippers. The last thing you want to do is have clippers that run hot and burn your furkid or don't clip well and pull the hair. |
