| How old is he? Maybe he's asking for attention. Our dogs are smarter than what we think... |

YT 2000 Club Member | That couch is no longer your couch, he has marked it as his! Aren't Yorkies cute? My JoJo better not do that. His fur butt will not be on my couch. If you visit my country house you will see dog blankets on my couch and chairs. Just in chase he lifts his leg. Two fences to keep them from going into the living room on the rug. Tile is in our kitchen. This is a dog loving house but not a pee palace! |

YT 2000 Club Member | Oh one more thing, my dogs are only allowed in the family room when I am in there. Otherwise they are in the kitchen and yard. That way I can catch the leg lifting and peeing if he ever tries it! I will fly off that couch and that dog will run outside! |

YT Addict | Make sure you clean it with Nature's Miracle or a product like that or it will smell. I followed the advice of some of the other YTer's and bought a black light....OMG! I'm not sure what kind of products you can use on suede but I sprayed the heck out of my rug with NM and then I used the NM carpet shampoo and the smell and stains are all gone including ones from Barkley, my previous yorkie. I've had to really limit their time in the family room now that I realize they're so good at hiding their dirty work.

| vinager, diluted with a little water will take the smell out |

YT Addict | All I can say is I poured vinegar on my carpet and I could still smell it, especially when it was hot and humid. Maybe mine was worse and needed something stronger? I would give the vinegar a shot but if it doesn't work then I'd recommend Nature's Miracle. Read through some of the threads, it may take more than one treatment to get rid of the odor.

| I've been using Out! which contains odor-fighting bacteria and enzymes, and Pruven. They both seem to work for me, but Bella's urine is very lightly scented. |
