YT 500 Club Member | Who is that puppy in the window? Sophie has declared a barking war on the mysterious puppy and people in the window every night. Why is this different than her reflection in the mirror? I haven't got a clue. Maybe she is seeing our Civil War ghost that has appeared in our back yard a couple of times. Spooky!

| We have a lost soul that lives in our house, doesnt cause any problems. He is just lonely and I even know who he is. Mina will sit up in bed sometimes in the Middle of the night, growl and then just lay back down. |

| This is really scary ... I shouldnt have read this thread this late at night lol ... I was alone in the apt with a friend's dog and all of a sudden he started growling at the corner, for like 2 mins and then he started crying... There was nothing there and it was really scary!

| My folks' place also has spirits. Dexter, their Maltese mix, will bark at the wall and at night. We don't have any civil war ghosts here though - how neat!

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | I live in a house built in 1784. We have our share of ghosts. Sometimes we hear them walking up the steps other times we smell food being cooked. They are very peaceful spirits.

| I have a question for all of you who have "spirits" in their house. I worked for somebody for 3 years, I am a private nurse and he was 92 years old, he recently passed away. Two days after his death, I was in his apt at night taking care of his wife, I felt a really strong but peaceful energy around me, then the light next to his room started flickering for about a minute .... Now I thought maybe it was the light bulb about to burn out but it's been a month and I always have that light on and the flickering never happened again and the bulb is strong as ever ... Do you guys think it was him??? I dont mean to steal this thread .... It's just that I cant find any explanation for what happened and I was always thaught ghost do not exist! The other nurse said the night after his death, she heard steps in his room, but I have a hard time believing that! But why does this happen? I think is unfair to just be stucked here in this world as a spirit

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Our rat terrier, Bella, will sometimes come flying out from under the covers around 2 or 3 in the morning raising all kinds of noise. We dont hear anything. But we were asleep. For the last month our shepherd, Julia, sleeps in the doorway of our bedroom and no more Bella incidents. Why oh why did I read all of these threads?!? My hubby is out of town. Need to find a good book to read tonight. Yep!!!

YT 500 Club Member | A good friend of mine moved into an old house a couple of years ago. They found an old casual chandelier in the attic and decided to put it in their family room. On more than one occasion the chandelier started to swing back and forth about ten times as if someone was pushing it then it would just STOP abruptly without slowing down. So weird. The same thing happens with the chain lock on their front door. Swing, swing, swing, swing, swing, STOP.
