| I don't know why I didn't think of this sooner Today I took both my girls to the dog park. On the way home decided to stop at Petco. I usually put Chloe in her carrier but today seeing that my DD had come along just carrier Chloe in my arms. I put her little blanket in the shopping cart then put her in. I did have her leash and was holding on to her. Jump Jump Jump almost out of the shopping cart. Then I remember the coupler I had when I walk the dogs together. I had it in my pocket. Perfect snaped one end on her harness and the other end snaped to the cart. When Chloe was jumping around in the shopping cart I thought of the little yorkie on here who got hurt jumping out of the cart poor little baby. But it could have happen to me as well. I don't know why I didn't think of useing a coupler sooner. Thought I'd share this idea. It worked for me. And from now on this is the way Chloe rides in shopping carts if she not in her carrier. |

| I use the coupler for my girls almost daily for multiple uses. Shopping carts included. I don't take them to pet stores but I DO take them to Marshall's, Ross, TJMaxx, Home Goods etc and we use the coupler there along with for securing in cars seats, stroller, bike basket, etc. we use it for everything BUT walking.

| This may be a dumb question but can you find a "coupler" at any pet store or do you have to order it from somewhere? I spend an hour in PetCo last weekend looking for something just like this and settled on a small collar, which really doesn't work very well.

| I would think you could get one at any pet store or Wal Mart. I got mine at Big Lots if you happen to have them near you. I think they are made by Coastal just ask someone at the petstore that you would like to walk two dogs on one leash. Its an Adjustable Coupler, mine is for toy and small dogs. |

| I have a Pawrider for the car. When I take Lexi into the store, I take the strap that hooks her to the leather strap. It is nice and strong and pretty easy to unhook from the car, hook to a shopping cart and then back to the car. |

| That's what I use as well. If I have both dogs I attach the coupler to the Pawrider.
