| I like Facebook for other things, but their Yorkie pages are rather limited. Plus there was this one person who screamed bloody murder when I recommended Royal Canin for Yorkies and she told me that it was mediocre, and that I should feed my Yorkie Orijen, Wellness, or some Cost-Co store brand because they were rated more highly by Dogfood Advisor and that I CLEARLY was giving erroneous information and didn't know what I was talking about. Then I referred someone with a question about Yorkies to yorkietalk.com, and the same person asked "How DARE you refer someone to another website?!?!???" Needless to say, I blocked her, LOL! |

| I forget Facebook and besides I can't keep track of it! I was looking for a post I made to a friend a while back on it and have no idea in the world how to find it. It's frustrating to me. Love the pictures and things - some are so big, etc. but for sheer activity and information and a more "personal" feeling to it, YT has it all over FB.

| I have to look at FB occasionally to see what my parents are up to! (70 & 73 yrs old...) and I post occasionally about not yorkie related stuff and occasional pics of Huey , but I spend WAY more time here than on FB.

| Interest and time for Yorkie Talk comes and goes for me. But as far as posting and reading messages of interest, its much easier to post on the forums here than blabber on FB. On FB its very easy to offend someone, and then you get the people who are all about social issues, politics, or religion. If you limit the discussion to everything and anything Yorkie, its a much less stressful form of social expression. I also have a twitter account that I could care less about, and post an occasional blog on world press, but this is the best place when you feel like typing away without regret (but I don't get into the dog food battles ). |
