| Need Illustration On Measuring Height, Please! I've got this measuring thing all wrong according to the hubs, and it would help (tremendously) if someone could illustrate this for us ... It all started last night when my DH informed me that Bella was as big as Eva now and I disagreed. Bella has more coat than Eva, and she appears to be the same size as Eva, but she's not ... at least according to the way I've been measuring. So of course I had to prove it to him and that's when he said I'm measuring them all wrong. Pfffft Please, if anyone has time, show me where to measure Eva & Bella for height. Thanks so very much!

YT 2000 Club Member | I know there is a link somewhere that gives a diagram, maybe someone will come up with it. I measure from the top of the shoulder to the floor....so basically start at the front leg and down. I use a metal tape measure.

| Deb is right. Measure from the shoulder, on a yorkie this will be the highest point at the base of the neck before the topline levels out, straight to the floor. Here's an illustration. Not a yorkie, but you get the idea
