| Sometimes "Stuff" Makes Me Sad I think being an animal lover is so hard sometimes. We "see" things, we hear about things, and it hurts our hearts. I got upset today over a cow. I know it's not a Yorkie or even a dog. But animal lovers love animals right. It's just so hard sometimes. And I can't even begin to understand some people's reasoning. . It just makes me sad.

| I know exactly how you feel. There are times I get so upset at how people treat animals that it makes me wish I didn't love them so much. I get tired of being upset. Where I live people do not treat their animals that well and I'm always mad at someone Genea |

| My area is the same way. Something's are "acceptable" that shouldn't be. It just isn't right.

| I completely understand where you are coming from. I got upset the other night when my hubby said we should kill an opossum that is hanging out in our yard at night. I know they can be mean and not the nicest of animals, but I said I would only agree to a live trap and relocate of the opossum.

| I can relate I get upset no matter what kind of animal it is even if its one I dont particularly like. Theres this show on cable tv called swamp people where they kill alligators and I dont like alligators but I dont agree with killing for sport either

| Yes, I know exactly how you feel. I can't even get on FB at times because I know someone is posting horrible pictures and there are days I just feel I can't take no more hurt for these poor animals. I'm either so sad and sobbing or I'm so pissed at how cruel people be. Animals don't deserve this! I pray for them all.

| Rhonda, I'm the same way. The condition of some poor farm animals hurts so. You can pass by and see one down, with its head trembling hard or standing with one leg up as if it can't bear weight on it and it hurts your heart. I feel so bad for the poor things. Watching how some people treat their animals on those TV shows about farms and ranches is no longer something I can do. That last ranch show on Animal Planet or NatGeo or whatever it was on browned me off those kinds of shows for good. They mostly treated the cows birthing as if they were machines or pieces of farm equipment. And they were good compared to most!!! I don't understand how humans can treat our animals so awful sometimes - often, really.

| Did you all see that shot of that golf course recently where a seemingly threatening big gator crawled out of a lake, up onto the ground and walked slowly past a golf cart? Everybody was raving about how brave the guy was just to sit there and all the risk and all. But nobody mentioned that poor gator's disabled right foreleg, which he couldn't walk on. He just went down on that side when he transferred his weight. I guess alligators don't get any kind of vet care there as it never came up and I watched the news and sports news all day. Not one mention of his leg. You'd think they would catch him and try to see what's wrong and amputate that useless limb for him and let him rehab. IDK, maybe they did check him and decided to see if it would heal but I wonder if he's hurting.

| I tuned in once to see what the hoorah was and saw the glee with which they started what was obviously to be a gator-killing hunt and turned off it ASAP so I wouldn't see the killing. I couldn't imagine how anyone can enjoy killing an animal like they seemed to be.
