Yorkie Yakker | Is there anyway to stop her jumping Ive tried everything i know and nothing has worked.please help..She jumps on anyone that comes in if she wants to play she jumps if you even look at her she jumps..she is little only 3lbs and i am scared she is gonna get hurt. Plus it is becoming annoying. Please help. |

| - Don't back away when she jumps, instead try going forward - Say 'No' firmly when she does it and hold your ground until she walks away or changes her posture Hope it helps

YT 2000 Club Member | Have you tried putting her on a leash? When someone comes to the door or up to you, restrain her with the leash, if she jumps tell her no, have her sit, when she complies....praise or give a treat. This would need to happen every time, until she gets the idea that jumping on people is not ok. Just a suggestion.....You would have to be consistant!

| Like Deb1 says "consistency" is the key. And it can take a while depending on your pups personality. Some are little more stubborn than others. If she's a really young pup, it can take bit longer so be patient. Good luck! |
