| depends on how often they need it. in the summer i usually do once a week as we walk everyday. if all shots have been administered then it is safe to be around other dogs.

| #1- I bathe mine every Friday. #2- if your pup has had all of his shots by then, then yes, I'd take him with. He will still be so little that I wouldn't be comfortable leaving him alone for very long at all.

| Mine is normally bathed once a week. I would not take the puppy unless she has had all her shots for two weeks.

| Mine get bathed once a week in the warmer months when they are outside more and twice a month when its colder. I wouldnt take the risk of having your pup around other dogs when it hasnt had all of its shots. There will be other times later on where you will be able to take your pup and you wont be taking any risks

| I bathe Gracie once a week but only with all natural products. Could not get away with doing it that often with regular sulfate shampoo. Your pup really should have all the shots completed before being around other dogs or even on the ground where other dogs have been. Depending on how small your pup is it may take longer to complete the shots. Tiny pups should not have their shots all at once like a larger puppy would. |

| I think it would be perfectly fine to take her, but just don't put her down on the ground. Just find a front carrier you can put her in (not the ones that their back legs hang out in) so you can be hands free and she can just watch everything, which I think would be better on her first outing anyway ! Take along a diaper bag or what you have on hand, with a bottle of water, a little pan for water, her food, 2 or 3 disposable pee-pads, little jacket in case it gets too cool for her. Take her in the ladies rest room every couple hours and put a pee-pad down and keep her on it for a few minutes, but not let her feet go on the floor. If she doesn't go the first time, then take her back in an hour. If she goes the second time, then you could wait 2 hours before the next potty break. (those are good times to put the pan of water just off the pad and add a little water to see if she's thirsty). I wouldn't bathe her the day before or the day you do take her as she could possibly catch a cold. Bathe her a week before you go, then you can give her a nice bath the next day to get all the dust off her.

Thank you all for your opinions on these matters. I will follow your advise and be really careful and will let the vet know so that he can give me his point of view too. | |

| 2 questions I also bath weekly. I have a dirty girl!!! I would not take her out at all until at least 2 weeks after all of her puppy shots especially if Parvo (air born-deadly virus) is known to be present in your area like it is here in Houston, Texas and in the south. Doesn't matter if you just hold her...other people with infected dogs or even friends with infected dogs could pass it on to your pup. It carries on everything including car tires, shoes... I see you are in Spain so not sure if the above applies??
