| I torture myself.. I really do. I have been looking into getting a french bulldog for the hubster. He knows about it, and likes them. However, I can not find a breeder anywhere near me! I looked online and saw there was one in Ft Lauderdale (about 3 hrs south), but they wanted $5000 for a dog! NO WAY! So, and I know its bad, I googled pet shops. We went to Orlando last weekend and I tried to find the one there, but it was closed by the time we finally found it. So we went to another place today, and they had 2 yorkies. I asked about them and the lady didnt seem to know much, but at least she didnt say "teacup". She told me they would be around 8-9 lb when full grown. They were fluffy little things, but both seemed bigger than Joey, and hes 5lb. So now, I am thinking about these sad little pups who are locked in a cage and lonely tonight And, there were NO french bulldogs...

| I will ask my friend she has 2 Frenchies she got from a breeder here. They are both adorable and so sweet

| No offense against rescues...but a lot of them are so picky. My Dad ( a single guy, owned dogs all his life, a groomer), got denied a rescue because they felt it wasnt a good "fit". He went and got a dog somewhere else. And I have 2 children and 2 dogs, so I dont want a dog that hasnt been properly socialized. I will not risk my babies (fur or skin) like that. Im looking for a puppy 10weeks to about 6 months old.

| I know thinking of the pups in the cage makes you sad but think about there mommy's and daddy's shoved in a tiny cage no human interaction, no love, no bathes, laying and sitting in poo and pee just terrible.

| The thing I feel so horrible is when you come to take your puppy and the mom is there watching you take her baby away. This is why all of our dogs are neutered or spayed because I would never give them away. |
