YT Addict | Wayward ear...what's up with that? I'm really puzzled and hoping someone has an answer for me . Maggie and Bogey are 8 months old and their ears have been up ever since we brought them home. Now all of a sudden Maggie's one ear is down. I just took them both to be groomed today thinking the ear would pop back up but it's still down. Does anyone have any idea why this would happen at 8 months? Could she still be teething or be in some kind of pain that I'm not aware of? She doesn't act like anything is wrong, eats, plays, bosses me around LOL! This is the same ear that stayed down while she was still with the breeder, then popped up right before we brought her home. She's cute no matter if the ear is up or down but I think I would prefer it to be up if possible. Thanks!

| It is possible that she's still teething but not probable. If it was the weight of the hair, it make take a few days for it to pop back up. I have read some posts here that members have pups that have constantly up and down ears. Hers just might always do this. Not sure

YT Addict | Oh thank you! She has a very thick coat unlike her brother so I'll give it a couple of days and see what happens. I'll try massaging her ear too. I'm guessing you massage them in an upward motion?
