| Boarding on Long Island Hi everyone, We just got our pup last week and I am already concerned about where to put her during our summer vacation. I will try to have her with family but if that is not an option does anyone know of a good place to board in Suffolk county? I don't want to leave her with just any boarding place or the pry hotel at the vet. Thanks |

| Hm...when we first got Max we asked our groomer who she recommended to look after him because we heard so many horror stories about kennels and she had a list of really good pet sitters(so good, that the one we chose had stopped her business but took our Max anytime we inquired..she was a lifelong buddy of our pup lol). I'd recommend asking your groomer if he/she is aware of any.

| thank you so much, I had planned on asking the groomer. We are going to Alaska, so unfortunately taking her is not an option. Thanks for the responses Lisa |

| what part of Long Island do you live on. Also do you know about the big Yorkie 911 Rescue on the Runway party the second Sunday in June, it is a great event that you can take your dog to. I will be coming in from MI for it ( I am from the island) I bet the people from that group could hook you up with a in home place you could take your dog to, that's what I have here in MI, much better than a kennel.

| based on your zip code you are not far from the Yorkie 911 party, it is in Smithtown, a lot of the people from Yorkie 911 live in that area, they also have meetups. If you want I can ask them if they know of anyone that boards in their home.
