| Chelsey the DRAMA QUEEN!! My girls needed their nails cut so i took them to our vet to have her do it. Im always scared ill cut too far and hurt them, so we sitting there in the waiting room and all they want to do is run up to everybody to greet them all happy wagging tails, the vet assistant walks up to them and speaks to them for a short while, next we get called to come both walk happily till we get to the consulting room when Chelsey makes a FULL STOP and refuses to walk in so i pick her up ( the vet starts laughing ) and starts asking about Chanel because i made the appointment for both girls and Chanel needed Checking on her head because she has these tiny little bumps on her head ( nothing serious ) so she cuts Chanel's nails while shes on the table, shes acting like a real big girl, she just looked at the vet and let her do what she had to do. Next Chelsey has to go on the table welllllllllllll i told my husband to hold her while i take Chanel. ( i knew what was coming ) Chelsey was acting like she was being TORTURED even our vet had to laugh, before she as much as touched her Chelsey was screaming blue murder The vet called her "little drama queen" NOTHING i did could calm her down she was SO MAD at my husband she wont even look at him, he tried giving her a treat and she WONT have ANYTHING to do with him LOL im SO glad i didnt hold her My husband is trying EVERYTHING to get her attention, but shes acting like she doesnt even know him lol Anyhow while i was there i spoke to her about Chanel's eyes, i wash their faces every morning with cooled down water that's been boiled, but she seems to have tear stains like we often see in the Maltese breed so she gave me stuff called "Diamond eye" i hope this will help because those tear stains make her look as if she is neglected. Though our vet always makes me feel so proud of them, last time she kept saying what gorgeous teeth both of them have and said they would do well advertising toothpaste. This evening she asked if i have any picture cards of them, so i promised her that i would send her a Xmas picture card of them that we had made. She said they are perfect postcard yorkies That really made us feel SO proud Sorry this post is SO long but i had to share my "Drama Queen" story

| My dog is about the same. He is a "big boob?" If I go near him with a comb or brush, he starts carrying on like he's being killed -- And, please know that I haven't even touched him. Plus, to date he has never been really combed or brushed all over because of the way he acts. (I just cut his hair very short for now to avoid the whole scene.) I took him to the vet for shots and heard him screaming his head off back there. The vet came out laughing. She said he didn't cry when he got the shots. He did all his crying when the assistant picked him up. And that's all she did --- just pick him up. I am discovering quickly that Yorkies are "very vocal" dogs. No doubt about that. My approach has become --- when things need to be done - just do them as quickly as you can, let the dog yell, and get it over with as fast as possible. After all --- just who is running this show. Can't we all admit that we spoil our dogs rotten 99.99999999% of the time. I told mine just this morning, "I can't believe that it hurts you that bad to just look at a brush." It's just pitiful!!! | Hehehe, yeah.. my girl is the exact same way. I was cutting her nails once in my bedroom and my mom ran up screaming if I was okay because she thought I hurt myself

| LOL...so you've got a little drama queen on your hands! She's so cute she can get away with it! Maddie is a lot like that...acts as if someone is trying to kill her when it comes to her nails. I'm glad your husband held her, so it isn't you having to make amends with her. LOL

| She had nightmares!! LOL Im SO glad to hear she is not the only one that acts like that!! She LOVES the brush because she knows she gets to look in the mirror when shes done so she can "admire" herself! She LOVES herself - funny thing is when shes brushed and done often my husband will pet her and tells her how PRETTY she looks, she then will give him the "dont touch ME now" look, and pulls away as if shes affraid her hair will be a mess again hehehehe Chelsey kept having these nightmares again the whole night through we had to keep waking her up, she was the same the night she had her BD party with nightmares LOL i guess its all too much for her The Queen can't handle too much excitment LMAO Chanel just couldnt care she gave the Vet a smile when she was done, she looked at her Dad, he got a smile, when i picked her up i got all the kisses Thank you for sharing your stories i love reading them!! Villette thank you for the Tip! I will try this "Diamond eye" and if i dont get the results im hoping for i will order "Eye Envy" from imapreciouspup

| Lil BEar is the same way. I come so much as near her with the nail clippers and she start letting out her you're killing me. I actuall have to have my dad hod her and my mom distract her so I can cut the nails. I don't know what they will do when I move. Moose is the exact oppisite with her nails. She just stands there and lets me do it. Now if I come to her with a brush or clippers then it's panic time and she will start to shake and fight her way out of my arms.
