| New here Hi all, My name is Patty and i got a yorkie about 2 months ago. She was born on Oct 26th 2012. We named her Buttons, she is smart as can be......... Maybe to smart for this old woman. She minds me but kinda does her own thing. She will sit right away, but when i get close to her she runs a couple feet away and sits again. we do this over and over again till either she gives up or i do. I laugh and tell my hisband i need to work on sit. She is so small and cute i just laugh and hug her. I have always had yorkies in my life since the 70's some times 4 at a time. I decieded i would get a chinese crested hairless when my last dog passed. And i did i got a small girl we named Tinkerbell. She developed Cushings Decease. It hit her hard and took her a year and a half after she got it. She had just turned 8. My heart was empty and i needed a yorkie to fill the hole in my heart. That leads me to today and my Miss Buttons. I hope to post and see some of your babies. I don't do alot of the things people do today like text, facebook, twitter. I got my phone in 2007 so you can see i don't do to much. But it does what i want which is make a call when i need to. I thank you for letting me join. You might wonder why i took so long to post but i did do a post 2 different times but i guess it never went thru. So i am trying 1 more time. Patty and Buttons |

| Welcome to YT Patty & Buttons! Glad you're here. I would love to see some photos of your Miss Buttons. I know how you felt when you lost Tinkerbell. When we lost our yorkie "Baby" nothing could heal our hurt until we got our Sophie. Looking forward to hearing more from you.

| Welcome Patty & Buttons, we're new here too and my first ever Yorkie, Eva Noel, was born on October 21, 2012. I had to laugh at your post, my Eva does the exact same thing as your Bottons ... she will sit, almost on the floor and want me to pick her up, but the minute I reach for her she will back up and sit again! We went around the bed sitting and squatting one morning and I just laughed out loud and so did the hubs!!! She doesn't do it anymore though ... we got another Yorkie this week and Isabella Bleu (born Nov. 2, 2012), walks up to me and puts her little paw on my leg wanting me to pick her up, which I do. Now Eva doesn't back up when she wants me to pick her up, she gets front and center!

| Thanks Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome. Buttons keeps me in stitches with the things she does. It's nice to laugh again after such a bad year. I am afraid Buttons will not have to do to much that she doesn't want to do in her life. She has landed in a soft spot as far as her life will be. I will see that she does the stop and come here. but after that i don't think she needs to do much more minding. Just live life and have lots of fun. It's odd that so many people here have a yorkie close to Buttons age. Buttons was so small i didn't get her till she was just over 2 months old. Infact i was looking high and low for a female yorkie and all the breeders around here just had boys. I have always gotten girls when i get a dog and my husband has always gotten boys when he gets a dog. We now have 2 dogs, Buttons which you know about and a male Chinese Crested Hairless. We are happy with the pair and they get a long real good together. I have attached a picture of Willow. Patty Patty |
