| EVO, Innova, California Natural and HealthWise Dog Food Recall "On March 18, 2013, Natura Pet Products has confirmed it is recalling certain lots of four of its most popular dry dog foods due to possible contamination with Salmonella bacteria." http://www.dogfoodadvisor.com/dog-fo...g-food-recall/ Isn't this Natura's first ever recall?

| Cross posting this on General and Health/Food forums. Natura's web site is getting slammed and won't even load for me. Someone on DFA said "Just called Innova and it is for dry cat and dog food. They are going by expiration dates. If expiration date is December 17, 2013 to January 2, 2014 it is recalled." Not sure of the validity of this though... take it with a grain of salt. If you are feeding any Natura product stop and call the company.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I have almost full bag of CN and called my Pet food store and they have pulled all of the products off the shelf pending more details. I stopped feeding them the kibble a few weeks ago. I was trying to go grain free and switched them to Weruva canned. They only had a few meals of the new bag. I am waiting to see what dates are involved for CN. I have a sell by date of 12/7/13. Roxie did have terrible diarhhea last week but I think it was from her reflux meds. I did do a stool sample and her vet called and was surprised to see bacteria in it so maybe it was from the food.

| I am posting Natura's web site letter. I just got it to load for me... Dear Natura Family, As pet parents and dedicated pet health advocates, it pains us to inform you of the first recall in our company’s 21-year history. During a recent random sampling, the FDA confirmed the presence of salmonella in one of our products. We take this extremely seriously, because your pets are like ours – they’re part of the family – and we aren’t taking any chances. As a result, we have voluntarily recalled a number of our products as a precautionary measure. Fortunately, there have been no reported animal or human health issues associated with these products, and we have confirmed that this is not a widespread issue. Natura was founded on the commitment to provide the healthiest natural pet food in the world. As Natura employees who live this commitment every day, words cannot express our disappointment with this finding. We place quality as the cornerstone of our products. It is a process of ongoing improvement, and we will continually review and raise these standards. Unfortunately, salmonella and other contaminants pose a great challenge to the food industry, and no company is immune. We want to assure you, our valued customers, that we are more committed than ever to animal and human safety. We have fully investigated and identified the cause of this incident. Our production is ongoing, and you can continue to feed any Natura products outside of this incident with confidence. We know that trust is earned. This incident further fuels our passionate commitment to your pet’s health and safety. We promise to demonstrate this commitment through our actions now and in the future. Click here for details on the recall products. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us at (800) 224-6123. Sincerely, Employees of Natura Pet Products Affected Products Please download this PDF to see which products are affected by the voluntary recall. http://www.naturapet.com/voluntary_r...20Products.pdf

| OMG I got a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach when I read the title. Thank goodness our variety isn't on the recall. It took forever to find something that Jada can eat and doesn't cause issues.

| Thank you for posting this! I do feed Evo and the kind I get them was listed. Fortunately, the bag I had for them was not on the recall list. But they are running out and I will need to get more food for them soon.
