| Breeding yorkies Well I have a female and male yorkie the female is 13 months old and the male is 5 years old. When my chihuahua went into heat she started a chain reaction so all my females (a total of 3) went into estrus Of course they all have there designated partner but, Here is the problem. The male yorkie is the least bit interested in the female yorkie (This is her 2nd heat ) He is more interested in my other two dams but there chihuahuas. My female yorkie is flagging for 4 days now and he hasn't tried anything meanwhile my other males are very interested but not allowed cause I am not interested in mixing them. I ended up taking her to get bred by a different male. Has this happened to anyone? Is it normal will I have to get a new stud? Please help. |
