| Early Christmas Present! I'm so excited I just need to share happy news with folks who really care! My baby Mignon (4 1/2 months - we've had her for 1 1/2 months) has had 3 straight days with no "accidents" - AND - she slept through the entire night from 930P to 545A last night. I think it's too soon to think potty training is complete, but she sure has been good and I'm hoping she keeps it up and doesn't forget everything when I have the whole family here for Christmas dinner. On another note - she has discovered jumping and I'm a nervous wreck. On our carpeted floors it's not too bad, but kitchen and baths have tile and I'm so scared that she will fall backwards (something she does quite frequently) and crack her head. Should I put towels and rugs around everything she is trying to jump on - or would that just encourage her? Can't resist posting a picture of her trying to figure out how to get at her Christmas presents! Last edited by Mignon's Mom; 12-21-2005 at 05:18 AM. |

| It's a little fuzzy when I click on the picture, but she looks tiny and adorable! My Kelsey was and still is a jumper. I think you just have to keep a good eye on her. She is bound to fall and have a mistake at some point. I try to lock all the bedroom doors and bathroom when Im home with Kelsey. That way she can't get to where there's tile and things she can jump on without me right there with her also so she doesnt go potty and chew up shoes etc.

| Congratulations on the good luck. She looks so tiny and cute. Let me know if you find a cure for them jumping. In my experience, once they start they think they are little Houdinis! Isn't it nice when they sleep through the night?
