| Two must read books: "YORKIES FOR DUMMIES" "YORKSHIRE TERRIERS: A SMART OWNERS GUIDE" These are available on Amazon.com and they are a great addition to your library, as you will need reference books for the life of the baby!! |

| Welcome to YorkieTalk and one thing I can tell you about Yorkies is that they are fragile and take chances a lot of times, don't seem to be aware they can get hurt jumping off furniture, etc. She will likely need a doggie staircase for the couch and bed, if she sleeps with you. Frequent jumping can cause repetitive stress injuries to a dog with a fragile shoulder, hip or knee joint so try to teach her to use the little doggie stairs or ramp. Yorkie need their teeth brushed to prevent dental problems and even tooth abscesses from bad dentition and some many have iffy stomachs and can't tolerate human or rich food. That's all I can think of right now. I hope you enjoy your sweet baby and will love that Yorkie attitude.
