| I would like to bump this thread to make people aware of kory feick. I bought a dog from her this summer, I found her on puppy find and she had good reviews so I thought it would be ok. Less than a month after I bought this dog I was at the vet and he had giardia and and ear infection. Which both things we know come from a dirty environment. I spent hundreds of dollar clearing up the giardia. I then found all the bad reviews of her on this site. I put a bad review on puppy find and they took it down and would not put it back up. It was nothing but facts about this women. And they would not put it back up. So she continues to breed badly. I emailed her and told her I wanted a dog that was 4-5 lbs. my dog is over 8! For someone that claims to know everything about yorkies, you think she would have got that right! But she just wants to sell dogs and knows she can get away with bad business. |

| This woman is very dishonest. She openly spreads lies about me on her website and to anyone that contacts her. And she spreads these lies because she doesn't like what I had to say to her about her breeding and the conditions she keeps her dogs in. I am the Tiffany D she speaks of on her website and I am NOT afraid to speak my side of the story. This woman is a liar and a puppy mill. Has anyone seen how many Yorkies she has listed on puppyfind, all different ages?? |

I wish you could have spoken to someone who knows about purebred dogs before you bought your pup but that kind of information is not out there for the general public to see, unfortunately. Yorkies and other small breed dogs are very popular right now thanks to television shows and "star" types that have tiny dogs that get photographed constantly. Yorkies are being bred by the thousands in just about every state by people who know nothing about purebreds and the genetics involved and do not care about the filthy conditions they are kept in. If you ever decide to buy another purebred dog I would recommend that you start by contacting your local AKC sanctioned dog club. Do a search on their site for a club near (American Kennel Club - Club Search and Directory) you and contact their puppy referral contact person. Most clubs try their best to only recommend people they know are reputable. These people breed according to the standard and have learned proper breeding techniques for purebreds. It is a very complicated process and takes time and study to create a good line of Yorkies or any purebred. Any show/breeder will sell pet puppies. Even with all the care that goes into a proper breeding program not every pup is show quality. I hope you love your dog despite the awful time you have been through. It is certainly not the puppy's fault that it was bred by a disreputable person. Many people here on YT have dog's that were bought under much the same conditions. Sadly, the bad breeders are much easier to find than good, honest and knowledgeable breeders. Hopefully, you will learn a lot here and know what to look for if you ever want to purchase another purebred dog. | |

| I was in the same situation a couple of years ago with one of my yorkies that I no longer have. The breeder promised to send the AKC papers "when she had time" 3 months later still no papers nor did she answer or respond to any or my phone calls or emails. I sent her a registered letter in the mail stating that if I did not receive the AKC papers within one week then I would take her to court and sue her due to not fulfilling the contract. The day I got confirmation that she signed for the registered letter she called me and said that she was sending the papers. Sometimes for whatever reason breeders might just need a extra push. I was never really going to sue her but I guess my threat worked and I had my pups AKC papers within a few days. She gave the excuse of being busy with her kids and I told her I have kids too and that was no excuse. |
