| puppy to adult coat color question Ruby was a year this past October. If I've read right a Yorkie's coat colors continue to develop into their 2nd year??? I can't remember how Lola went thru her color changes so many years ago. The reason im asking is Ruby's coat seems to have a chocolate/brown tinge to the blue/grey/black area. Can that be typical as they are maturing? Im just making sure its not because she is missing a nutrient or something as Im having a paranoid moment!

| Rosie had a lot of black on her at 6 months. I am thinking she changed to more silver at about one year to a year and a half old. Not positive but I think that's close. I'm not sure about Rudy's coat. Someone with more experience can probably be more helpful!

| I think it differs with each dog. Mine gets silver very soon after his first clip. And right now he no longer has black apart from his tail.
