| Where do I get a Yorkie from?? Hi, I am new to this forum. We just put down my 13 year old Yorkie this past week He was my mom's best friend and I was hoping to find some reputable breeders of Yorkie's so we could look into getting another one. Does anyone have anyone they could recommend??? Thanks!! |

| The first place to start would be the YTCA Yorkshire Terrier Club of America About The Club I'm sorry to hear about your loss. Welcome to YT

| Welcome to Yorkie Talk. I am sorry to hear of your family's loss. Finding a good breeder requires a lot research. I would start with the Yorkshire Club of America and their list of breeders. There are additional good breeders out there. Some can be found through Petfinder, but you have to be really careful. They are like a needle in a haystack and you have to research each potential candidate. Here is more information: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/bre...e-breeder.html

| So sorry to hear of your loss. Welcome to. YT. Check out ytca.org for reputable breeders and read up on comments site members have made in relation to getting a yorkie, especially to pick your breeder 1st, then the pup. Good luck in your search.

| I am so sorry for your loss of your baby. I don't have personal knowledge about them, but I have heard good things about the Jenks and HiHopes in Connecticut. If they don't have pups available, they can recommend good breeders who do. Yorkshire Terrier Club of America About The Club
